Suya is the word used to describe this skewered meat in West Africa. It mostly originated from the Hausa people of northern Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Ghana, and some parts of Sudan, one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa.
Suya Spice is a dry peanut based spice rub used to marinate food.
